Death of the Joker
By now most people would have heard that Heath Ledger, star of A Knight's Tale and about to be the Joker in the highly anticipated movie "The Dark Knight", passed away yesterday. Evidence suggest it may have been a drug overdose due to the discovery of pills next to his body.

I was sad to hear of this. It's awful when anyone dies, but when a star dies so young of what appears to be an overdose you have to ask why? Now I hope it wasn't an overdose and the pills were just coincidence. This is because although still horrific I can then make sense of it. Otherwise he is just one of a long list of stars who took their life early. So many people want to experience fame, to enter that world, yet so many seem to be wanting to exit it. I'm thankful there is more to life then that. I just wish they knew that.

So here's to Heath, and hopefully his final film, the dark knight, will show his finest moment in front of the camera, and is what he can be remembered for, rather then a probable suicide.

Blessings,

Rich
