I've been thinking about the purpose of blogging, and noting that Dan, (http://blog.danlush.com) and Jon (http://www.jonjolly.com) have made a point of giving their blogs more purpose. As a result I will be addressing why I blog and the point of it in the next few posts with a view to release a new version of my blog in the early new year.

On a different note, I was inspired to hear of the Asbo Jesus website from Jon's last post. (Http://asbojesus.wordpress.com) The site is cartoons that present points on the Christian world. Some I agree wholeheartedly with, others not so much. One that particularly struck a chord is this one.



It got me thinking about how so often we thinking we're thinking out of the box, but actually we are simply joining a different process of thinking. This doesn't always mean its a thing, but the reality is to truly think out the box we need to be able to look at all the different viewpoints, analyse them, explore them and come to our own conclusions, not those of that our imposed upon us.
